Between 1841 and 1921 over 4.5 million Irish Citizens made up a third of immigrants to the United States. They packed up their lives, their past and small possessions and found their way to Old Irish Town now known as Brooklyn in New York to build a new life in a new world with their dreams and hopes for a better life. The Irish also brought the art of distilling to American shores.
